GPC has extensive experience in the master planning of new property developments – this project in Hokkaido, Japan is no exception.

One of the most popular and unique all-year-round resorts in the world, Hanazono has a complex master plan. GPC was involved in this alpine project which is now under design by Riccardo Tossani Architecture Inc.

Planned as a pedestrian orientated village the resort offers a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities including world-class skiing and snowboarding in winter and in the summer, golf, mountain biking and tennis.

The development consists of 8,500 rooms and 20,000 sqm of commercial retail space. It has set new standards in resort-style accommodation and retail for the Japanese ski fields.
